The classroom experience at Fordham Graduate School of Business is about more than professors lecturing to students. The learning environment is a mix of faculty lecture, experiential learning, and group and individual projects. Faculty often include case studies in their curriculum to provide a practical context to theoretical concepts. These hands-on opportunities allow students to truly master subject matter and apply it in real-world situations.
The classroom culture also encourages discussion between professors and students. Many from both the academic and student sides are professionals in the business world—a majority of students work full-time and faculty are involved in both research and consulting. As a result, not only do professors share their personal experiences, they encourage students to share their stories as well.
