
Fordham’s student clubs foster a sense of community for students with similar interests. Students meet informally at meetings and social events to discuss educational, career and worldwide concerns and opportunities. All students are welcome to join any club.

The Student Advisory Council (SAC) is Fordham Graduate School of Business’s principal student organization. Student opinion on programs, curriculum and faculty is channeled through SAC. SAC is an elected body consisting of one president, two vice presidents (one for full-time students and one for part-time students), a treasurer, and a social chairperson. As the umbrella organization for Fordham Graduate School of Business’s various clubs, it seeks to stimulate interest in school activities and works towards the continuous improvement of the MBA program. The Asian Business Network (ABN) focuses on creating a business network that provides support and direction for students interested in learning about Asian business career opportunities, both overseas in Asia and domestically in the United States. ABN accomplishes this by hosting Alumni Business Panels and Networking Events, managing a Career Development and Mentorship Program, running an annual Career Fair, and hosting various Corporate Recruiting Events. The Fordham Black & Hispanic MBA Alumni Network is an integral part of the support system for African-American and Latino students at Fordham. The group is determined to build a formidable association dedicated to building and sustaining a beneficial network connecting applicants, current students, and alumni. Members of this club learn more about the implementation of Dr. Deming's management principles for improvement of quality, productivity and leadership in competitiveness. The Fordham Entrepreneur Society (FES) is an organization for MBA students with the desire to become successful entrepreneurs. FES is geared to those entrepreneurs interested in transforming business ideas from the theoretical to the practical. The Fordham General Management Club was created to promote general management as a mid/long term career goal. The aims of the club are to bring together Fordham students interested in general management and create a strong network with alumni and employers; educate and support the members and alumni in their pursuit of cross-functional careers by defining career paths for general management; and finally, maximize their post-graduation opportunities by providing information, data and insights about general management. The Marketing Society strives to educate members about the wide variety of careers within the marketing discipline by providing networking opportunities with marketing professionals, alerting members to marketing job opportunities, and maintaining alumni relationships. The Marketing Society is also committed to working with Career Services to understand and serve the needs of marketing students and bring quality employers on campus for recruiting events. The Media and Entertainment Alliance was formed to enhance relationships between the community and the media and entertainment industry. Using the existing Communications and Media Management department as an academic base, the Alliance creates ongoing access to industry professionals through panel discussions, networking events, site visits, and seminars. Net Impact provides a forum for future business leaders to discuss new opportunities to create meaningful careers that create value for both the business leaders and for society. The group provides an opportunity for the Fordham chapter to influence the curriculum design at the university. Net Impact promotes recruitment opportunities through its professional development system and offers opportunities to network with more than 5,000 members from more than 60 of the world’s leading business schools. The Women in Business Club recognizes the unique needs of women in the corporate environment. It supports the ongoing development of leadership among women and the promotion of greater opportunities for women in the corporate environment. It works to build relationships with executive and professional women by sponsoring corporate presentations and industry panels. It facilitates interaction and networking among students and professional women by hosting roundtable discussions.
